Description
The double sealing system with a piezoresistive sensitive element allows for precise force measurements. The pressure sensor is calibrated in units of force by calculating the force through pressure and the diameter of the piston, which presses through a viscous liquid onto the sensor.
The force transducer is installed in places where force cannot be calculated using conventional pressure measurement (for example, if the liquid tank is already under pressure).
Example of application: determining the current volume of a container. The accuracy of the FA-23 series will be approximately 15 liters for a 1500-liter tank.
