Description
The main component of the Senseair Refrigerant Detection System (RDS) is the refrigerant leak sensor used in ventilation and air conditioning systems (HVAC).
The sensor is housed in a casing with a ventilation opening for gas, protecting the sensitive element from dust and water droplets. Thanks to the built-in heating element, the system can operate in low-temperature conditions.
The Modbus protocol allows measured values to be transmitted digitally to the control system.
The digital output is activated when the measured gas concentration reaches the designated threshold. The output can also be configured to transmit an analog linear signal corresponding to the measured gas concentration.
The Senseair refrigerant leak detection system is designed for installation inside HVAC equipment or nearby in locations where leaks may potentially occur.
