Description
These pressure transmitters are certified for ATEX and are suitable for use in areas with high explosion risks. Possible explosive zones for the use of pressure transmitters, categories and groups of explosive mixtures of gases and vapors with air – in accordance with the requirements of the Customs Union Technical Regulation TR CU 012/2011 "On the safety of equipment for operation in explosive atmospheres". Explosion protection marking: 0ExiaIICT4/T5/T6.
The 41 X Ei series features a ceramic sensing element for low pressures with μP electronics used in Series 30 transmitters. Temperature and pressure sensor signals are calculated using polynomial compensation. The transmitter can be reprogrammed, and measurement values can be displayed and stored on a PC.
Transmitters are programmed for standard measurement ranges. The PROG30 software allows configuring the analog output signal to any range within the measured range (i.e., for a 100 mbar range, the output signal can be set to 4…20 mA for 20…60 mbar).
Using the KELLER RS K-100 converter, up to 128 transmitters can be combined into a single bus system and read from a computer or laptop. The READ30 software allows reading the readings of each transmitter or pressure changes from multiple transmitters and recording data as long as they are connected "online".
By default, sensors have a digital RS485 output but can also be equipped with an optional analog output: 4…20 mA / 0…10 V. Through the digital output, in addition to the pressure signal, the temperature signal from the sensor can be read, which can be useful for static processes.

PR is a relative pressure transmitter, zero reading at atmospheric pressure. It can be used to measure both gauge pressure and vacuum pressure.
PAA is an absolute pressure transmitter.
