Description
The PD-39X pressure transmitter is a differential pressure transmitter, featuring the use of two absolute pressure sensors, which allows it to withstand overloads on the differential from both sides. Considering this feature, this sensor is most rationally used for tasks where the measured differential is of the same order as the static (reference) pressure.
By default, the sensors have a digital RS485 output, but can also be equipped with an analog output of choice: 4…20 mA / 0…10 V / 0…2.5 V / 0…5 V / 0.1…2.5 V.
An additional application of this sensor can be simultaneous measurement of pressure in two processes, in which case it is mandatory to use the digital output and obtain 2 pressure signals, 2 temperature signals, and a differential pressure signal.
By default, the sensors have a digital RS485 output, but can also be equipped with an analog output of choice: 4…20 mA / 0…10 V. Through the digital output, in addition to the pressure signal, a temperature signal from the sensor can be obtained, which can be useful for static processes.

Total error for the differential pressure sensor:
The total error for the TEB differential pressure sensor (in % of the measurement range) is calculated as follows:

Example:
Measurement range of the absolute sensor = 10 bar
Measurement range of the differential sensor = 4 bar.
TEB (in %FSO) = 0.1 x 10/4 = 0.25%
