The IZMERKON EM 470 electromagnetic flowmeter is specially designed for measuring the flow of pulp and viscous liquids.

Often, noise caused by solid particles in process liquids affects measurement results.

The IZMERKON EM 470 flowmeter uses high-frequency excitation at 25/30 Hz with a rectangular current pulse to measure pulp flow, eliminating the problem of measurement instability caused by noise related to suspended particles in the medium.

Electromagnetic flowmeters have no moving parts subject to wear, significantly reducing the need for maintenance or replacement.

We offer flowmeters with linings and electrodes made from various materials, capable of working with a wide range of electrically conductive process media.

The EM 470 flowmeters can also be used to measure the flow of drilling or cement slurries, paper pulp, juice, syrups, ore or coal slurry, and other liquids.
