Description
ATTENTION, currently the device is discontinued, the modern improved model is the DCX-22 sensor
DCX-18 ECO is a standalone data logger with a rechargeable battery. The device is housed in a stainless steel case with a diameter of 18 mm. The sensor allows measurement and recording of pressure (liquid level) and temperature over extended periods. Small size, rechargeable battery, fully welded construction, and stable sensitive elements are just a few advantages of the DCX-18 ECO series. The device is equipped with a modern microprocessor, enabling high accuracy and high resolution in level and temperature measurement. The measured values undergo software processing and temperature compensation to obtain a linear signal. The logger uses a stable memory device protected against voltage spikes, ensuring complete data preservation.
DCX-18 ECO
All parts of the sensor – sensitive element, electronics, and case with battery – are housed in one welded sealed enclosure. To download data, first, the logger must be removed from the measurement point. Then the cap must be removed to access the data reading connector. The DCX-18 ECO logger uses an absolute pressure sensor. This is acceptable in cases where atmospheric pressure changes can be neglected, or if there is a barometric sensor on the surface measuring atmospheric pressure in parallel. In this case, on the computer, you can accurately calculate the liquid level using the logger readings and atmospheric pressure values.
DCX-18 ECO with cable (DCX-18 ECO SG or DCX-18 ECO VG)
These versions of the DCX-18 ECO allow data reading and battery recharging directly from the surface without removing the device. To compensate for atmospheric pressure fluctuations, the DCX-18 ECO VG version includes a capillary tube running through the cable.
Rechargeable battery
The DCX-18 ECO can be recharged via USB by connecting to a PC using the K-104M converter cable. For quick charging, the logger can be connected to a car battery. The battery charge status is displayed in the software.
