Description
Multi-plate radiation shielding is used to protect measuring devices and provides more accurate measurement results. The Stevenson screen minimizes radiation reaching the sensor, minimizes radiation absorbed by the screen, and increases the flow of ambient air around the sensor. The 13 plates, increased to a diameter of 200 mm, are designed to provide full protection for the measuring instrument. Inside the plates, there is a cylindrical space with a diameter of 110 mm and a height of 185 mm for installing the measuring instrument with minimal solar radiation.

COMETEO is made of ASA plastic, resistant to mechanical damage and UV radiation. ASA plastic is very stable over time. The transmitter is fully protected by a radiation shield with maximum diameter plates, providing improved protection against atmospheric influences.
