Description
CO2 Engine ® BLG series sensors, designed to measure and store data on environmental conditions such as:
- Temperature
- Relative humidity
- CO2 concentration (up to 30%).
The CO2 Engine ® BLG sensor module is designed to operate on battery power and consumes low amounts of energy, which nevertheless does not affect the accuracy and resolution of measurements.
Virtual RTC (Real-Time Clock) allows storing measurement results and events along with the time. Events include sensor power-on, start and stop of recording, automatic ABC calibration, as well as user-performed zero calibration and background calibration.
Data reading from the logger via I2C connector and using the I2C–USB bridge (SADK, SenseAir accessory).
Data reading for embedded modules via I2C or UART.

[1] Except environments with high SO2 content.
[2] 100% of sensors are tested during production at 45°C / 85% RH / 1000ppm CO2 for one hour. For information on sensor use in high humidity environments, contact SenseAir.
[3] Various optional versions exist for specific applications. Contact SenseAir for more details.
[4] Note that the maximum load is 14V, so the sensor can be used with 12V±10% power supply.
[5] Accuracy defined for operating temperatures and atmospheric pressure of 1013 mbar. Certified calibration gas mixtures are used for calculation. Calibration gas deviation (currently ±2%) is included in the stated accuracy.
