Description
The new series of 21Zio pressure sensors provides significant improvements in flexibility and efficiency in the measurement chain and helps reduce costs.
The standardized IO-Link technology offers users uniform specifications from cables to protocol while still ensuring compatibility with common interfaces in automation technology. This noticeably reduces the likelihood of failures caused by incorrect wiring or similar errors, and there is no need for definitions or parameter settings for a specific bus.
Sensors can be conveniently parameterized using a computer connected to the network. Any faults are detected early with the built-in diagnostic function and can be immediately resolved. If a sensor is replaced, the master detects the device and automatically writes predefined parameters to the sensor. This significantly reduces equipment downtime, personnel costs, and susceptibility to errors.
The 21Zio pressure sensor can also be used as a pressure switch.
