Description
Series 4 LC...9 LC – miniature pressure transducers combining a piezoresistive sensing element with a microprocessor in one compact, convenient housing for further installation.
Technology
Keller has been developing and manufacturing piezoresistive OEM sensors since the 1970s. Over the years, a high level of stability and accuracy has been achieved, as well as advancements in signal processing and amplification technology using modern electronics. Now the company has managed to combine both the sensitive chip and the microprocessor in one miniature housing. This technology was named Chip-In-Oil (CIO). Thus, the entire pressure transducer now represents a compact, cost-effective design that is easy to install in measuring equipment.
Interface
The transducers have a ratiometric output signal, making them convenient for further integration into systems. The output signal of 0.5…4.5 VDC at 5 VDC supply is protected against voltage spikes and reverse polarity up to ±33 VDC and has noise protection according to modern EMI requirements.
