Description
The pressure sensor is a highly sensitive silicon chip. The chip is protected from damage by a stainless steel housing with a concentric corrugated diaphragm. The housing is filled with silicone oil to transmit pressure from the diaphragm to the sensitive element.
All metal parts in contact with the medium are made of 316L stainless steel. A welded vacuum-tight construction is used. Connection pins allow the sensor to be mounted directly on a PCB or used for wire connections.
Durable, Compact Size, Lightweight
The piezoresistive chip is immersed on a substrate in silicone oil, which is welded into a 316L stainless steel housing. Diameter 19 mm.
High Sensitivity
The nominal signal of 200 mV is obtained at a current supply of 1 mA, for standard ranges above 2 bar.
Ranges from 0...0.1 to 0...20 bar
Quality
Every single pressure sensor undergoes comprehensive testing for pressure and temperature characteristics, and is supplied with an individual calibration certificate containing all results. Special tests are available upon customer request.
Series 9 can be supplied with a very thin, laser-welded diaphragm (see specification Series 3 L - 10 L). The advanced new laser welding technology leaves no cracks and improves the diaphragm's corrosion resistance, while still meeting all stability requirements.
