Description
eSense FAI (fresh air indicator) is an infrared and maintenance-free carbon dioxide detector designed for indoor installation where CO2 levels need to be monitored according to BREEAM standards, such as classrooms, offices, or warehouses. According to various studies, adequate ventilation improves employee productivity and learning ability. The sensor measures the concentration of carbon dioxide in the surrounding air and provides audible and visual signals when levels exceed set limits. It can also send a signal to control ventilation. Suitable for European-style junction boxes (mute button on the side).
Application for BREEAM Certification Tasks
According to the scoring methodology, the eSENSE™ FAI CO2 sensor is required to achieve maximum results in sections such as "Health and Wellbeing," "Energy," and "Innovation." This is because the eSENSE™ FAI is the optimal solution for climate monitoring. By measuring CO2 content, the user knows exactly when "fresh" air should be supplied to ensure acceptable indoor air quality. The operation of the ventilation system will depend on actual demand. This helps significantly reduce electricity consumption while maintaining a healthy indoor climate.
