Description
The 21PHB series pressure transducers with a dynamic range of 0…20 kHz and M6 thread are optimized for both dynamic (e.g., pulsation) and static pressure measurements. The sensor design ensures perfect compatibility with the medium and allows measurements at temperatures up to 100 °C.
Electronic Components
The 21PHB series transducer chips are designed to take advantage of the high dynamic range of the 21P sensor. Although the signal is retuned in real time via a high-precision digital compensation circuit, it remains fully analog. This maintains the full dynamic range and high signal accuracy across the entire bandwidth from 0 to 20 kHz. The remote signal converter, operating at temperatures from -40…+125 °C, meets the special requirements of aggressive environments, such as engine test benches. The sensor alone, equipped with an 80 mV analog output (at 1 mA supply), is also suitable for these applications. In this configuration, the sensor is supplied with a card providing the user with data obtained from factory calibration (21P series).
Sensor Technology
The 21P series transducers are based on a piezoresistive pressure sensor integrated into a hermetically sealed oil-filled diaphragm within a metal housing. This technology provides high resistance to overloads and environmental effects, as well as excellent long-term stability. Thanks to the compact sensor size, direct connection to the measurement medium is ensured along with a dynamic range from 0 to 20 kHz.
