Description

FA 500 – a device for measuring the dew point temperature in compressed air environments. It is ideal for use in refrigerated, adsorption, and membrane dryers. The device can measure the dew point even in extremely dry air (down to -80°CTd). The sensor is equipped with a digital Modbus (RS485) interface, an analog 4...20 mA output, as well as a signal relay, the threshold value of which can be easily and freely set by the user directly from the device display. The sensor is available in versions with different measurement ranges (-80...+20°CTd, -60...30°CTd, -20...+50°CTd). The sensor display can show not only the dew point temperature value but also humidity and temperature parameters. The sensor can operate at pressures up to 50 bar, and a special version of the device is also available for measurements at pressures up to 350 bar. A measuring chamber with a quick-release connection is available as an accessory. The sensor is quite durable (IP 65), reliable, and also has excellent long-term stability characteristics.

Compared to the previous version of the sensor (FA400), the device is equipped with more advanced sensitive elements and electronic components. In particular, improvements were made to the temperature compensation calculation algorithm. This has led to increased accuracy and signal resolution of the sensors. The device’s sensor is insensitive to condensation and, thanks to a sintered steel cap, is protected from direct contact with dirt particles.
