Preparation for hydrotesting
At the stage of manufacturing new pipelines, a mandatory leak test is conducted, the results of which are recorded in the accompanying documents. The main control method is pressure testing, during which the pipe must withstand a pressure of 16 bar for 60 minutes. Special manometers allow specialists to monitor the readings in real time. A sharp drop in pressure indicates the presence of defects that can be fixed before the system is put into operation.
