Dear colleagues! We are pleased to announce that the next shipment of Coriolis flow meters of the updated model range is being prepared for the customer.

The feature of this shipment is not so much that it is a milestone, but that it is the first delivery of devices in the updated design. We have previously talked about various series of IZMERKON SM 470 Coriolis flowmeters supplied by our company.

New Coriolis Flowmeters

The feature of the device shown in the photo lies in the converter (many specialists call it a transmitter).

This is a version of the transmitter for the remote execution of the flowmeter. The standard length of the inter-block cable is 5 meters. Unfortunately, it cannot be shortened, but ordering devices with a non-standard cable length is quite possible, with increments of 1 meter.

The remote transmitter is equipped with a universal bracket for mounting on both flat surfaces and pipes with an outer diameter up to 50 mm. All necessary fasteners are made of stainless steel and supplied as standard equipment.

The second distinctive feature of the updated transmitter is the optical buttons, designed both for quick device setup and for controlling the display modes of current measurement parameters without dismantling the device’s housing parts.

And finally, the third and most important feature of the updated converter is the presence of two 4…20 mA current outputs, each of which can be configured to transmit information not only about the flow of the measured medium but also its physical parameters. There is no need to say much about temperature, but the density of the measured medium deserves a more detailed discussion.

At many industrial enterprises, considerable attention is paid to the density of various raw materials for processing. A densitometer for operational (current measurement without sampling for laboratory analysis) density measurement of raw materials is itself a rather complex and expensive device, and the current situation in the Russian instrument market adds certain difficulties.

The possibility of using a Coriolis flowmeter as a densitometer does not contradict the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of metrological support of industrial production, and the updated converter implements this capability easily and, I dare say, elegantly.
